Printing Issue with e-Agent 

 

This was sent to UFAA Tech Support by an agent (MANY thanks, Carl!) providing steps to resolve printing issues from e-Agent:

How to configure the settings in Adobe and Internet Explorer so that online
documents will print:


ACROBAT READER 5.1.0
1- Go Edit - Preferences - Options and put check marks in the four options
under Web Browser, which are:


a- Display PDF in Browser


b- Check Browser Settings when starting Acrobat


c- Allow Fast Web View


d- Allow Background Downloading


INTERNET EXPLORER
1- Tools - Internet Options, Under Temporary Internet Files:

a- Delete Cookies, Delete Files  and click on Settings and a check mark next
to: "Every visit to the page",

b- Under the tab Security, click on Custom Level and Under ActiveX Controls
and plug-ins, put a check mark in Prompt for all 5 items under ActiveX
controls and plug-ins.

c- Under Microsoft VM, put a checkmark next to "Medium safety"

d- Under the tab Content, be sure "Enable" shows

e- Under the tab "Advanced", under Security, remove the check mark next to
"Do not save encrypted pages to disk".

Close programs and reboot.
